She Insulted the Wrong Matriarch

Brilliant scientist Elena arrives for a surgical seminar at her husband Nathan’s invitation. Obsessed, rejected vice chief Imogen mistakes her for his mistress, beats her publicly and ruins her one-of-a-kind anti-rejection chip. Imogen blocks Elena’s proof of identity, while Nathan repeatedly fails to save her. When the truth surfaces, Imogen snaps mentally and dies in a crash. Elena rebuilds the chip, saves Nathan’s mother, and reunites with her family.
