When He Left the Delivery Room, I Let Go

On the day Emma goes into labor, her husband Ethan leaves to deliver Lily’s baby—his own child with Emma’s adopted sister. While Lily receives every comfort, Emma and her baby are abandoned in a hospital hallway. When the baby develops a fever, no one answers Emma’s pleas, and the child dies in her arms. Emma divorces Ethan and starts over in Norway. After learning Lily had framed Emma years ago, Ethan begs her to return, but she refuses. Emma chooses freedom; Ethan is left with regret.
