Four Fiancés Dumped Me, So I Married the Sun God

Fifteen years ago, the water nymph Iris saved King Julius and his army. The king took her in as his adopted daughter and promised she could choose one of his four princes to marry. But the king's war angered the moon goddess Diana, and the four princes were cursed into donkeys. Iris cut off her own wings to restore their human forms, and Diana left a curse—if they broke their oath and refused to marry Iris, they would forever turn back into donkeys. Fifteen years later, a prostitute named Scylla appears, using lies and tears to drive a wedge between the princes and Iris. For Scylla, the princes seize the crown, drain Iris's divine blood, tie her to a stone pillar and whip her until she coughs blood, and in a choice between two pyres, abandon Iris to save Scylla. As Iris lies dying in the flames, the sun god Apollo descends and grants her the status of divine queen and new wings. Divine punishment falls, and the four princes begin transforming into donkeys. Filled with regret, they are deceived by Scylla once more; after she empties the king's treasury, Scylla kills the second prince, Lucius. In the end, Iris descends with Apollo and Diana, executes Scylla, and turns the princes into donkeys forever, sending them to mines to be whipped and driven. Iris and Apollo hold their wedding on Mount Olympus, and the Roman king promises that her child will inherit the throne.
