The honest Beta does not wish to split

Oliver, an eleventh-grade Beta, had terribly poor grades. After failing algebra, he was forced to retake the class with ninth-graders and new students. In that classroom, he encountered the type of person he hated most—someone just like his so-called childhood friend Alan: Ethan. Brilliant, arrogant, rigid, and sharp-tongued.
