This Time, I Chose the Black Dragon

Scarlett gave ten years to Adrian the Phoenix until he abandoned her in a beast tide. Reborn on Bonding Day, she picks Xander, a dying black serpent—secretly a dragon. Together they rise, expose his dark rebirth, and free his mother. Adrian dies by divine judgment. She becomes Dean, saves those she lost, and finds true love.
