When a Witch on a Broom Chased My Plane

Sophie is a recent graduate of the Moonlight Magic Academy. During her final assessment, she was betrayed by her best friend Ella, causing her soul to shatter into seven fragments. The largest piece, wrapped around a flying broomstick, fell into the modern world and embedded itself in the chest of Kane, a Boeing 787 captain. Sophie’s fragmented soul landed in a human body on London’s streets. Upon waking, she found herself with less than ten percent of her magical power—she could only survive by finding Kane and staying close to him. Kane is the only son of the Mitchell family and a top pilot for British Airways. Initially skeptical of magic, he is gradually forced to accept reality after Sophie repeatedly "chases planes on a broomstick," "pokes people with her spirit," and "shakes glasses from across the room." Using the excuse that "my soul fragment is inside you, so wherever you go, I must follow," Sophie moves into Kane’s home. Their chaotic cohabitation begins as they are drawn into a series of events: - Megan repeatedly frames Sophie and Emily; - Rebecca, seeking to cover up the truth behind the XT-037 crash, alters blueprints, tampers with black box data, and forges infant records; - Family members including Alfred, Frank, and Diana uncover clues about past secrets; - Sophie restores her soul piece by piece through rescuing people, solving cases, repairing blueprints, breaking curses, and dismantling crystals; - Ultimately, Rebecca is arrested, the truth about XT-037 comes to light, Sophie’s soul becomes whole, her anchor solidifies, and the boundary barrier between the two worlds strengthens; - Sophie returns to the magical world to save Moonlight Academy, then comes back to the modern world to confirm her relationship with Kane and begins writing a book to help others who have "fallen through." The story concludes with the message: “The door has always been there—those who wish to come will find their way.” Sophie and Kane stand side by side on an airport observation deck, their anchor still resonating.
